Bristol University is one of 149 members of B.U.S.A., the British Universities Sports Association. B.U.S.A. coordinate the inter-university sports programme. For each team entered in the 43 available sports universities are awarded points, which are collated to give each university an overall championship score. At the close of the 2006/07 season Bristol were placed 10th in the overall B.U.S.A. championship. This year we hope that we can improve on this and at least stay in the top ten - a goal that we set ourselves a few years ago and are proud to have achieved!

Bristol currently has 10 teams in B.U.S.A. premier leagues, which are the highest leagues in the B.U.S.A. structure, these teams include badminton, fencing, football, hockey, lacrosse, rugby, squash and tennis. In addition to this, Bristol has a further 26 teams competing in the western divisions. Most of these teams compete at Coombe Dingle or the Indoor Sports Centre, so come along and support. To view the results and fixtures for these teams just click on the links in the table below.

In addition to the leagues, other teams and individuals participate in tournaments and events. Examples of these sports include surf and windsurfing, in which individual B.U.S.A. championships were won by Nick Reid and Emily Shaw respectively.
