About the Club

If you are a wakeboarder, waterskier, slalom pro, barefoot champ or just love your kneeboarding the bristol wakeboard and waterski club is for you. With such diversity in our sport we hope to cater for all and are especially keen to help newcomers get involved.

We run trips every wednesday afternoon throughout the year (bravery permitting!) to WM Ski in the Cotswold water park. There is cable park less than two seasons old with loads of kickers and sliders for us to play on. There is also a boat lake with a Ski Nautique 196 for slalom, with Perfect Pass Pro and a world championship spec slalom course. For the wakeboarders there is a Tige 22v Riders edition - the very boat that pulled world championships in Rio in 2003. All comes with expert instruction and help from the guys down at the lake. We also have a deal with Middlemoor ski lake where members can take advantage of half price skiing any day of the week.

Events

Throughout the year there is a number of inter-university competitions which are more about just having a laugh and getting as many people involved as possible. The highlight of the year is the student nationals where students from across the country descend on Sheffield for 3 days of madness.
